DAMON BIVEK
Damon Bivek, a founding partner of Smith Bivek Law Group, sparked his interest in Family Law while clerking for the Georgia Superior Court and Georgia Supreme Court Judges. “I enjoy family law because each case is unique and the practice of family law requires a well-rounded attorney. Damon loves working with children and is trained as a Guardian Ad Litem. He has protected and guided many clients to successful resolutions in their divorce. As a recent client states:

Approaching cases from the perspective of what is in the best interest of the child helps me make compelling arguments for my clients in Court.”
Damon Bivek has argued extensively in the Superior Courts in Fulton, Dekalb, Cobb, Paulding, Canton, Gwinnett and the Court of Appeals. He focuses his practice exclusively in the area of Family Law because “I love the practice of Family Law, and couldn’t picture myself doing anything else. There is nothing better than the feeling you get when you see someone walk out of a final divorce hearing smiling confidently, because they have a roadmap designed specifically for them that they know will lead them to independence and success. I aspire to instill in each of my clients, the confidence that comes from effective legal representation.”
When Damon is not in the Courtroom, he enjoys spending time with his Wife, golfing, traveling and playing with his Labrador Retriever. He is active in the community and was recently elected to serve as President of the Family Law Section of the Cobb County Bar Association.
